046030800German Expressionism left a deep imprint on his work. In 1933 Steinhardt immigrated to Palestine and founded the "Studio" in Jerusalem; He later became the director of the Graphics Department at "New Bezalel", and headed the academy in 1953-1957. Upon coming to Israel he focused mainly on woodcutting as a primary means for expression. The exhibition aims to create a dialogue between Steinhardt and Struck, who conveyed through the art of print, in different ways, their respective worldviews.
