046030800Francisco Goya (1746-1828) had great influence on romantic and protest-realism art in general, and on artists of the 20th century in particular. His social and political critiques reached their summit in his four published series of prints - "Los Caprichos" (1799), "The Disasters of War" (1810), "La Tauromaquia" (1816), and "The Proverbs" (1815-1823). In his series of prints, Goya is conspicuous as one of the creators of modernism and a founder of the current art of the print. The Hermann Struck Museum presents these series to the Israeli public for the first time.
